The Call to Fairness

Why Should I Get Involved?

Discrimination affects everyone. As long as discrimination is allowed to exist unchallenged, everyone is negatively affected. Throughout history different groups of people have been targeted for discrimination. While the target changes, discrimination continues on the basis of racial and cultural diversity, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability, and age. Until human rights are accorded to all people, no one is truly safe from discrimination.

Thou shalt not be a victim;
Thou shalt not be a perpetrator;
Above all, thou shalt not be a bystander.

Lessons from the Holocaust

First they came for the socialists and I
did not speak out because I was not a
socialist. Then they came for the trade
unionists and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews and I did
not speak out because I was not a
Jew. Then they came for me -- and
there was no one left to speak for me.

Martin Niemoller

I believe gay people should have civil
rights equal to any other people under
the Constitution.....You know we are all
God's children.
